our sprayer was not working. I had tried to get it to work . . . you know, back whenever we had brought the logs from our church to the property. It had gotten cold after I made the concoction, and the sprayer would not spray. We tried everything, and could NOT figure out how to get this sprayer to work.
And to boot, this was the second sprayer that we had gotten.
AND, I need a sprayer that works~~I have 70 logs that I am going to need to spray.
But you know how sometimes there are things in life that you just don’t want to deal with? Some things seem daunting, and like they will not work, and so you avoid them like the plague. That was me with this ‘stupid’ (as if something can be stupid~~hehe) sprayer. Really . . . truth be told, it was scaring me. Blah!
I got to the point where I needed to face this. If I can’t face a sprayer, that is sad, right? It was a nice day out. I had time. I also had logs sitting on our property that we had peeled and now they are needing sprayed. I had to ‘figure’ out this sprayer.
Here goes nothing. (I may be making a big deal over this little thing, but I certainly cannot be the only person that doesn’t want to face something because you think you cannot get it to work.) But I had to. . .
First off, I had to empty out the contents. This mix had been in the sprayer since the previous winter. It had wintered in the sprayer sitting right in our garage. . . and it also ‘springed’, as in stayed there in the spring too. I’m telling you . . . I did not want to deal with this.
But I had to. . .
And I had some spoons to help me scrape it out, and a socket wrench (?). I know it is a socket wrench. . . or at least I think that tool is~~now I am second guessing myself. But what was the socket wrench used for?
Oh, and there is our house phone. Can’t do anything without a phone nearby, right?
And quite frankly, I had to get that out.
Sooooo, I did whatever I thought I could do. . .
Obviously, nothing was coming out of this sprayer nozzle. . . so what’s a girl to do? Take it all apart. I don’t think I got any pictures of that, but I did figure out there are a ton of little pieces that unscrew and slide apart, and need to be sprayed out. . . hence the hose laying there waiting to be used.
That was so simple! Ughh~~ I let things scare me, and I don’t want to deal with them, but then I do, and figure it out, and get it working. Why do I procrastinate?
Just “Thank you LORD!” for giving me the know-how to get this sprayer working again.
